Has it already been a year since the Virgina Tech shooting? I think I spent most of this week last year reading every possible article and commentary about this numbing event, but it still seems so fresh on my mind. Every school shooting profoundly affects me, causing my deepest fears to surface and hang around until I quietly address them one by one in private. Pesky things, they are.
